The most UNDERRATED library at Queen's!

Today I chose a very convenient location for myself to study after class as the Lederman Law Library is right across the street from my building. This library is not very large and only consists of two floors, but it is a very nice study space. It is not a busy library, so it is extremely quiet and is the perfect atmosphere to study in.

There are large windows in the main area of the library which provides great natural lighting and sets a calming mood which made it easier to study. The interior of the library is all outdated wood with interesting paintings and frames hung up on the wall which gives it a homier vibe. The desks provide you with more space than you even need which I found was perfect for me because I like having everything out in front of me where it is visible instead of having to rummage messily through a bunch of papers.

There is free Wi-Fi access for all Queen’s students with a net ID. Sadly, there are no food options in this library. I regrettably did not bring anything with me to snack on, so it was a fairly short study session. Overall, I found that this library had the best study environment of any others which helped me focus and get work done efficiently. Although I did not originally use this library very often, I can confidently say that this will likely turn into to my most common place to do schoolwork. I truly feel I have never had a more successful study session in a library.
